• While running, the vaporizer will make a gentle bubbling or hissing sound. This is completely normal and indicates that the vaporizer is actively producing warm steam.
• If the vaporizer does not produces steam after 10 minutes, your may have soft water or a low mineral content. Mix one or two pinches of salt (1/8 tsp) to your water and wait ten minutes for the salt to have an effect. If it is still not generating steam, or is only generating a little steam, then add a pinch or two more as needed, up to ½ tsp.
