• Will I have accurate measurements from day 1?
• PM, humidity, temperature and air pressure, are ready from day 1. CO2 and VOC sensors will adjust to the environment during the first week. For radon levels long-term average is important, so wait until after the first month before you act.
• What’s with the hub feature in View Plus?
• Users monitoring air in multiple rooms with both View and Wave monitors can can use the app to link their Wave monitors to the View’s hub. This extends View Plus internet connectivity to Airthings Wave monitors and extends battery life.
• Can I do anything to extend the battery life?
• You can double the battery life by lowering the frequency at which the monitor sends the data it collects to the cloud. By default it sends its data every 10 minutes but you can reduce this to every 60 minutes.
